URXR One closed its Kickstarter on September 18 at $1,288,712, against a $50,000 goal. The campaign opened August 4. Unseen Reality's own site puts the glasses on a mid-October ship date, and the three main reward tiers list October 2026 delivery. That is three weeks out.

Nothing had shipped as of September 20, MIXED reported. Late pledges are still open on the campaign page, which has since crept up to about $1.3 million.
The retail price moved during the campaign. Unseen Reality's launch materials set planned retail at $899, the figure VR.org reported when the campaign opened, and the reward text still says $899. The company's site now lists the glasses at $999. So does the late-pledge tier, which the campaign calls standard retail pricing.

Who paid what
Seventy-five backers took the $699 Early Bird. The $799 Kickstarter Special drew 1,162, which is where most of the money came from. Fifty-five bought the $1,550 Duo Pack. Those are the reward page's own counts, and all three tiers list October delivery, which works out to about 1,350 pairs. Ten more have taken the $999 late pledge, listed for November.
The Power Hub is separate, a 10,000 mAh battery that MIXED reported is listed at $69. It exists because the glasses carry no battery and, in the company's words, no built-in computer. A dedicated chip in the frame runs tracking and passthrough; picture and power arrive over USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode from the host device. Laptops, Macs and Windows handhelds drive the glasses directly. Phones need the Hub, and the Hub is scheduled for November or December, not October.
Creators have had prototypes for weeks
Steven Sullivan posted a hands-on on August 16, twelve days into the campaign. Nathie and vrgamerdude both published on September 5. Unseen Reality links all three from its homepage, and a campaign update describes the units creators used as prototype samples.
Seeding creators before backers is standard for a hardware launch. Prototype samples are not production units, though, and the October tiers will be.

What the campaign lists as risks
The risks section is more specific than most. It says Unseen Reality has "working CNC prototypes and our supply chain is locked," and that "the move from EVT to mass production always carries schedule risk." EVT is the engineering validation build that comes before production tooling is final.
Two items on the list depend on Apple. The Power Hub needs MFi certification, and the URXR Connect app needs approval to use iOS extended-display APIs. Neither blocks the October glasses. The campaign says the Hub "will work without MFi," with some iOS features limited until certification completes, and that Bypass Mode, the single large screen, "works without any app." The company's timeline already puts the Hub and the phone apps in November or December and calls both dates tentative pending MFi progress. For October, the gate is the one listed first: getting from EVT hardware to a production line.

What the archive says about first dates
VR.org's archive is not kind to first ship dates in this class of hardware, crowdfunded or not. Immersed opened Visor preorders in September 2023 against a 2024 target and was still raising the price behind a deadline this July. Pimax announced Dream Air in December 2024 and said in July that every outstanding preorder would ship by August. Neither was a Kickstarter. Both were funded by buyers against a date, and both dates moved at least once.
In August, when this campaign stood at $793,716, Evan Marcus used it to argue that backers fund unbuilt glasses far more readily than games, even though hardware carries the worse delivery record. It closed $494,996 higher.
For anyone deciding now: Early Bird and Kickstarter Special backers hold the lowest prices offered so far, $200 and $100 under the planned $899, and $300 and $200 under today's $999. A late pledge costs $999, lists November, and arrives after a month of backer reports. Phone users are waiting on the Hub either way. Mid-October is the date to hold Unseen Reality to, and a backer unit in a mailbox is the first thing that will say anything about the production line.
